Looking for the kelley blue book for puppies! how much do dogs really cost? I'm looking for either a website or a pricing guide that lets me know current running rates for dogs of all breeds. Does anyone know of a website similar to kelley blue book, but for dogs??!! Any book would also be helpful. A little disclaimer, I'm all for pound dogs and that is likely where I will get my next one, but I was just curious about prices. Thanks for the help! I'm not asking about a kerry blue terrier, I'm looking for a book or site comparable to a KELLEY BLUE BOOK for cars, where they give an aproximate price of the car depending on certain characterstics. Thanks for the insulting remark drezdogge.
Why would a dealer sell a car below its Kelley blue book? I am looking to buy a used car soon. I am trying to decide between a 02' Jeep Wrangler and a 05' Toyota Tacoma. I looked up both their values on Kelley Blue Book and found that the two dealers are pricing the cars below the suggested retail value according to the Kelley Blue Book website. I thought that normally they would try to price it higher. Why is this?
When an insurance company figures the total loss of a vehicle which kelley blue book value do they use? A willow tree fell on my car. It is a 1998 and had 60,000 miles on it. Needless to say, the willow tree did quite a bit of damage to the rear of the vehicle, I am asuming that it will be considered a total loss. If it is considered a total loss, which Kelley Blue Book value do insurance adjusters use when assesing the total loss value? I saw that there is Suggested Retail Value, Private Party Value and Trade in Value.
Any luck selling on Kelley Blue Book website? I am wanting to sell my mini-van and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge regarding the success rate for selling on Kelley Blue Book's website. Also, if you have any other information on successful ways to privately sell my used vehicle, I would appreciate your input. Thank you so much.
Is there a kelley blue book site for boats? It is easy to find the kelley blue book site for Autos, cars trucks motorcycles, but I cant find one for boats. Does it exist? Is there any sites of this style under another name?
Are Kelley blue book and edmunds reliable? I am trying to get an used 2009 toyota camry LE 4d sedan (mileage: 22000, no accidents reported, one owner) as my first car. The dealer showed us the market value for this car from kelley blue book and edmunds, and it was about $19500. We negotiated to reduce the price down to $18000 (no taxes, fees included) Is this a good price for the car? Im trying to buy it from crystal automall. Are Kelley blue book and edmunds reliable?
Edmunds or Kelley Blue Book Value better indicator of car value? I am frustrated in that I just went through the rigor of purchasing a used car. Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book values were far away from each other. I paid slightly above the Edmunds value but far below the Kelley Blue Book value. This was for a 2007 Honda Civic. Would you think that was reasonable?
Why is Edmunds so much lower than Kelley Blue Book? After entering the details carefully twice on each site, Edmunds gave a private party value of $3,659 and Kelly - $5820. When people came to buy it they would not offer over 4k because of Edmunds, almost 2k below blue book.
Do dealers honor the Kelley Blue Book? I have a used car picked out that I am likely going to purchase sometime this week (if all goes well). The Kelley Blue Book value has listed the car at $2,000 below what the dealership is asking. How do I used the KBB value to negotiate with the dealer? Do dealers honor the KBB price?
should car dealers price their cars over the kelley blue book price? or are most cars priced about the same as the kelleybluebook price? Im looking into buying a used car, and want to know if I should expect the price to be over the kbb price, and if it is, should i keep insisting to the dealers to give me that kelley blue book price or should i just accept that the car cant be given at that price? I hope i made sense.. thanks
Is Kelley Blue Book a good way to determine the selling price a vehicle? I have a 1996 Buick Skylark LTD 4 door sedan 6 cylinder. There is about 85,000 miles on it. My car runs great and looks nice except the radio we put in looks really bad (it works it just looks bad). I determined it to be in fair condition and basically got that I could sell it for around $2000. I would probably list it at $2500 though and let people make offers. Do you think this is a reasonable price? Am I asking too much or too little? Thanks in advance for your answers!
Did the Kelley Blue Book Site change? Was looking to find out the vale of my car, so I could list it for sale and the kelley blue book website seems to have changed. Does anyone know is the site changed to become more of a car sales site? Any recommendations on finding an accurate way of accessing the value?
Why is there such a difference between Kelley Blue Book and NADA motorcycle values? So, I'm thinking about purchasing this 1999 Ninja 250 off of eBay for 1625. It's in excellent condition, and the guy is real chill about everything. Thing is, the NADA value is 1015, but the KBB value is like 1800. Would I be getting ripped off if I went ahead and bought it off of him? I have the money for it, but I just don't want to be paying more than what's fair. I appreciate any help! So do you think $1625 is a pretty fair deal? I need to tell him something by tonight...
Is there a Homeowner Insurance equivelent of Kelley Blue Book? My dishwasher leaked and ruined my hardwood floor in my kitchen & dining room. I am going to file a claim with my insurance, is there a website that will list the amount of money insurance companies are willing to pay for....like an itemized list?

Iam a caregiver and need transportation, and the accident was totaly narley and completely her fault and she is fully covered.
Is Kelley Blue Book the final word in the price if someone is compairing? We've had our car for sale for almost 2 years...KBB went from 10.5k down to 7k....It has only a couple more hundred miles on it but is still in great condition...there is a small oil leak in which we're trying to get a new pan but other than that it's in great shape...Can I price it higher than KBB?
What's the point of Kelley Blue book if nobody follows it? Is it common to get KBB value for a trade in? It seems like every car dealer wants to stress how inaccurate it is. Surprisingly, its always overvalued with them, never undervalued. And I think its funny how they stress that for trade-ins, but tout how much their cars are under KBB value. So what's the deal with KBB if no dealer ever follows it? Will they think I'm crazy if I ask for KBB value for my trade-in? Is there some gimmick or dealer strategy I'm not aware of?
How much should I ask for my used car? The Kelley Blue Book Price can't be accurate..? I have a 1995 Blue Eagle Vision ESi. It is not running right now. It needs transmission work, a mechanic told me it would be $750 to fix. But it has a brand new fuel pump, brand new timing belt..We paid $1200 to get a bunch of work done 2 months ago. It has a few dents and things..I would say regular wear and tear for a 15 yr. old car. What should I be asking for this car??
My SUV is totaled... Insurance company says its worth less than what NADA and Kelley Blue Book says? I live in TN. 2003 Ford Explorer totaled according to insurance company (Safeco). They did an initial estimate and then I had to send it to a body shop to be torn down for additional damage. After 2nd visit it was considered a "total loss". They say that the vehicle is worth around $11,000 and I get around $13,000 using NADA and Kelley Blue Book. I went by their (Safeco) first estimate of damage and used all the options (leather, 3rd row seat, rear air, etc.) when using NADA and KBB. What are my options? This is my first wreck (I'm clueless and I think they know that!!)
Value of used Geo? Kelley Blue Book?? I'm trying to find the retail value of my car. It's a 1994 Geo Tracker. I tried Kelley Blue Book and they don't even have Geo as a make of a car? Why??? Are there any other websites that can give me an estimate?
Differences in Kelley Blue Book prices? I have a certain car in mind that I'm looking up on kelley blue book, and it assumes 'excellent' condition. While it seems the dealer has an internet special price (print this page and bring it in, yada yada) that is less than what the car would be in excellent condition, I was wondering if there's general idea of how much car value changes when going from excellent to good condition? Specifically, this is a sedan - a 2004 chevy impala, if that helps. It's my first time buying a car, so I want to go in with some idea at least of what is fair so I know what to aim for in haggling, and when to simply say no, and such. Thank you jay, but I was wanting to know what the price difference might be, because I can't get the kbb site to show me anything but the 'excellent' price.
