Hummer

Why are soldiers wounded in combat not discharged from the Army IRR?

3 of my fingers were blown off in Iraq when a RPG hit my Hummer along with my face being disfigured, and lost most of the tissue in my right leg. I have PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorder. Despite this they refused to med board me and after my ETS date I went in to the IRR. It only took 30 days after my physical for the VA to rate me at 100% but despite my notification to HRC the Army career counselors continue to harass me and even approached members of my family. It really p---s me off when those creeps at HRC lie about the thousands in IRR disabled. I get muster that I have to come to with a cane but the real worst part is that I must chose work a day for free or give up your disability for a month. I also have flash backs weeks after Muster duty for some unknown reason and despite almost not being able to walk they hound me for my weight. Infact some of them make fun of me disabilities on my warrior screening. Please call your congressman so we can end this dishonor of thousands of wounded heros. There was never a repeat question and it looks bad when you recruiters show your true colors with this type of post. Some day someone is going to have ugly hearing in congress over this! You know what I did lose my leg and I am in the IRR. I just use examples of other IRR soldiers I know. You seem quick to trash maimed hero's what type of a marine are you?

  1. I tried to find this repeat question but I did not. I guess recruiters spend are tax dollars playing online and beating up disabled vets what a Sierra Bravo!
  2. Do not listen to 5711 that non combat puke... He doesn't belong in any Marine Corps I served in... You are not the only one that is having the same problem... I deal with Disabled Veterans and their claims every day as a Veterans Service Officer... Actually it is extremely illegal for anyone to Contact you and Not Discharge you with a VA 100% SC Disability rating...per UCMJ
