Hummer

My husband wants me to give his Commanding Officer a hummer?

My husband is in the Army, and his CO called a few minutes ago and asked my husband to get a soldier to go to the motor pool and get a hummer (or humvee to military folks) to the Company area ASAP. My husband has no soldiers available, and he asked me to do it. I don't feel comfortable driving one of those, but the commander said he didn't care if I did it. Should I get the hummer and give it to the CO?
